#Ohio Sect of St just sent a letter to the Chair of the OH Dem Party that he will exclude #Biden from the OH ballot since the DNC convention is after their arbitrary deadline. OH extended the deadline for Repubs in 2012 & 2020, but refuses to do it now. Story.
Ohio's not really in play for the presidency, they must be concerned about downballot races. That being said, 2020s ohio is s giving 1980s rhode island a run for the title of most corrupt state ever.

In California, a frequent republican victim story is that CA has “one party rule” (because the voters don’t elect republicans, for the most part).
Ohio seems to be going all in to make this a reality, but on the other side of the aisle.

@rbreich the only way they’re gonna come back down now is if people stop buying the greedflated items. I have. I drive less, I wait until there’s eggs on the shelf that are on sale because no one else is buying them either, etc. historically, I only buy items that are on sale during Covid, stores didn’t even have sales. It’s time to enact the billionaires tax and take back some of the money that they have stolen from us since 2020.

England & Wales (non-statutory) guidance on treatment of trans kids in schools

There is guidance from 2019 which will be generally the same I expect.
I'd expect any consultations to be paused or at least the results won't be looked at until after.
PS. It's generally not called purdah anymore, what with the sexist (or at least culturally different) origins of the word.
