Happy pride month y'all if you don't know this is Wendy Carlos born and raised in Rhode Island studied physics at Brown University before going to Columbia and New York to study composition. She helped in the development of the Moog synthesizer developed by Robert Moog .
She did an album called switched on to bach, which I highly recommend & personally own on vinyl. She as well did the soundtrack for A clockwork Orange, the shining and Disney's Tron. In 1979, Carlos raised public awareness of transgender issues by disclosing she had been living as a woman since at least 1968, and in 1972 had undergone sex reassignment surgery.

#SanFrancisco declaring itself as a “sanctuary city for #trans people” is such a ridiculous notion to me — how can you say you’re sanctuary when most of the people you say you’d shelter cannot even begin to afford to be anywhere close to here and still live a dignified life?!???!? These people must be challenged, corrected and shunned for what they say and do. It doesn't matter to me if they're your co-workers, friends or even family.
