This is just a political stunt, of course, because there is zero chance of actually repealing the Comstock Act. Senate Republicans wouldn't allow it.

It's probably a worthwhile political stunt. But I wish WaPo would instead write about the catastrophic harm to women that will occur if Trump becomes president again. This verdict is tough. Of course Hunter's guilty, but this crime has pretty much never been charged as a sole infraction against anyone else so it just smells horrible.

That the judge and prosecutor are Trumpers makes it hard to assert that it has been a fair trial especially after so much interference in plea deal from FPOTUS and the GOP in Congress, but the jury has convicted him so rule of law and all.

Joe Biden is a class act though we should all acknowledge and work to get him reelected.

    A bond is a loan. It needs to be backed up by sufficient funds. If not, there is a risk of default, like any other bond. It will be interesting to see if Ms. Carroll is satisfied with the surety of her rapist's bond.

    Chubb's CEO, Evan Greenberg, is an interesting character. His father was the CEO of AIG, and he worked for his dad there for 25 years, eventually becoming president and COO. He was expected to become CEO, but then he left, in 2000.

    He's on numerous boards, including Beijing's Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. And he's chair of the National Committee on United States-China Relations.

    He dropped out of college. Never graduated.

    Biden has brokered ceasefires, and pressured Israel into committing to a 6-week Ramadan truce. He just took the first step toward ending Bibi's barbaric regime completely, by inviting opposition leader Benny Gantz to the White House.
