To get the true age of a candidate, take their age and add their number of felony convictions.

So Joe Biden is 81.

And Donald Trump is now 112.

Under this Supreme Court, rapists have more rights than women, and mass murderers have more rights than our children.

tristansnell , to random

No, mifepristone is NOT "safe" from SCOTUS. Not yet.

The Supreme Court ruled only on a procedural issue -- saying the far-right org that sued did not have standing to sue.

Only real bona fide injured parties can sue.

The right wingers will be back with another challenge soon.

After the women complained and sent an open letter to the company, Musk reportedly said “I don’t care - fire them.”

Dear Senate Judiciary Committee:

Stop “requesting” Supreme Court ethics legislation that will never pass the GOP-led House.

Start sending subpoenas and opening an official investigation into SCOTUS corruption and bias — which you actually have the power to do.

Donald Trump is a convicted felon.

Convicted felons can’t own guns (neither can drug users).

Donald Trump owns a gun at Mar-a-Lago.

So Donald Trump is breaking one of the same gun laws Hunter Biden broke.

tristansnell , to random
@tristansnell@mstdn.social avatar

Federal law 18 USC 922(g) makes it illegal to own a gun

  • as a substance user
  • or as a convicted felon

This was used to convict Hunter Biden.

It also potentially applies to Donald Trump.

Trump still reportedly owns a gun at Mar-a-Lago despite now being a convicted felon.

tristansnell , to random
@tristansnell@mstdn.social avatar

Maybe someday America will enforce gun laws on everyone as strictly as they've been enforced on Hunter Biden.

"I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal."

-- Joe Biden, responding to the Hunter Biden verdict

No yelling and screaming. No threatening the judge's family. No intimidating jurors or witnesses.

So when prosecutors, judges, and jurors do their jobs and Donald Trump is found guilty of 34 felonies, the system is "rigged" and a "deep state conspiracy," but when prosecutors, judges, and jurors do their jobs and Hunter Biden is found guilty, it's the right outcome? Got it.

On 1/6, the forces of Nazism tried to assault the Capitol of the United States, and they’re on the ballot this fall.

How are we going to respond?

What role will we play in history?

Senate Republicans just KILLED a bill to guarantee Americans’ rights to contraception.

And if Trump and the GOP win this fall, they will BAN abortion and contraception nationwide — including the pill, plan B, IUDs, and even condoms.

The only election Trump has ever won is the one he RIGGED.

If Stormy Daniels had come out with her story in October 2016, Trump likely would have lost the 2016 election.

Trump knew this. That’s why he paid the hush money — and covered it up.

And the cover-up was the crime.

Subpoena Justice Samuel Alito. And his wife.

Trump’s lawyers’ cross-examinations of Stormy and Cohen have been absolutely pointless from a legal perspective. They’re trying to make the witnesses look bad — but none of it is working.

Stop over-analyzing the Trump case:

Exhibit A - the audio recording of Trump

Exhibit B - the checks to Cohen - signed by Trump

Trump ordered the whole scheme and literally signed off on the payments. It was clearly a cover-up to help save his campaign.

It’s just common sense.

tristansnell , to random

Why did Trump try to delay the Stormy Daniels payment?

Because it was October 2016 — right before the election.

If he won, he’d be president and would shrug it off. If he lost, it wouldn’t be a big story anymore.

THAT was why he was paying her off and covering it up.
