I think the one reason why I’m voting enthusiastically for the fuckers facilitating genocide is this: the last fucker tried a coup and wants to get rid of any checks on his power.

I would like to be able to vote again in 2 years. Things can get worse, and they absolutely will get much worse for literally everyone under a Republican administration.

Things certainly will get much worse for literally everyone under a Republican administration. But they will get especially worse for the most vulnerable communities. The Palestinians will suffer first, and most.

@barney 100%.

But I honesty think it is a humanity wide problem. An accelerated climate catastrophe isn’t going to discriminate in the end. It will hit poor people and the vulnerable first, but it will probably get us all in the end if we literally try nothing to stop it.

True. If nothing is done, 3-6 billion people's homes will become uninhabitable by the end of the century. Nobody can escape a problem that big.

In that setting, the GOP just passed a bill that would ban any use of public funds to mitigate climate change, because that would be "anti-God" and "pro-Marxist."

The Democrats, in 2022, gave us the biggest climate change mitigation program in history.

Having no preference between the two would be... unfortunate.
