I should update those who have been kind enough to ask:

I’m finally all better! As of yesterday, I felt like my old self again.

We move into the new townhouse in Aug. We gave the sellers time to find a place to live, so we have to wait.

My car arrived yesterday! While Mr. Laffy was picking it up at the Canadian border, a drug bust took place within feet of him. Dogs sniffed out the culprit, and Mr. Laffy also got…sniffed!

We have no charger here. 24 hours later, my car is still plugged in

This is absolutely shameful! New York has suffered so much from COVID, and COVID is not over. We should be normalizing and depoliticizing masks, not banning them.

Would you support that endeavor? Governor Hochul: There was a ban on masks before the pandemic that you couldn't have face coverings that didn't serve a purpose. For example, a surgical mask for someone who is elderly or ill — the pandemic removed that from our State Law. It was repealed at the time, but I absolutely will go back and take a look at this and see whether it can be restored because it is frightening to people. You're sitting on a subway train and someone puts on a mask like this and comes in — you don't know if they're going to be committing a crime, they're going to have a gun, or whether they're just going to be threatening or intimidating you because you are Jewish, which is exactly what happened the other day. Absolutely unacceptable in the State of New York.

    Good for New Jersey and for Andy Kim on his winning the New Jersey US Senate primary.

    I'd read about Kim in 2018 and was impressed. He unseated one of the architects of the failed Paul Ryan plan to repeal the ACA.

    In the middle of the night after Jan. 6, Kim cleaned up garbage from insurrectionists at the US Capitol. He was acting alone, doing his part. I hope he wins in November.

    Last night Mr. Laffy, the twins, and I celebrated:

    1- May 34th
    2- Finding a townhouse to put an offer on …in our preferred complex, exactly where we wanted to buy
