Good thing we have all those open borders with people flowing over constantly. /s

Passerby6497 ,

You never know, you may end up wanting to eat bite Bender's shiney metal ass.

Passerby6497 ,

Always nice to have to go through months of PT that you, your doctor and your therapist know aren't going to help, but you're forced to jump through hoops to get those fucking ghouls to authorize it.

Passerby6497 ,

I still have nightmares from being a kid in a pool and getting stuck with my face basically at the water line because of something like that.

Passerby6497 ,

Those still exist, you just need to be wealthy to also be able to live comfortably. Like, I can think of several people who are only famous for their social media and ostentatious posting, we just don't call the bon vivants anymore.

Passerby6497 ,

If we have learned anything in the last decade, its that you have to put common sense shit into law because if you don't, shitty corpos will abuse it to make line go up

Accused adulterer Trump who paid to keep Stormy Daniels affair secret professes ‘love’ for the Ten Commandments ( www.independent.co.uk )

“I LOVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PRIVATE SCHOOLS, AND MANY OTHER PLACES, FOR THAT MATTER. READ IT — HOW CAN WE, AS A NATION, GO WRONG??? THIS MAY BE, IN FACT, THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE REVIVAL OF RELIGION, WHICH IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, IN OUR COUNTRY. BRING BACK TTC!!! MAGA2024,” Trump wrote in the early...

Passerby6497 ,

It should actually read 45-34, that's the most accurate version.

Passerby6497 ,

It's always nice to see the exact moment someone realizes they're in an argument that they can't win. And it's no surprise it's due to making a claim you have no way of backing up (because it's factually incorrect).

Passerby6497 ,

I’m criticizing the delivery, not the message. The majority of people that heard that protest were those who travelled from around the world to see Stonehenge. Their plans were ruined, and they don’t care any more about climate change than they did that morning. Some may even resent the protesters.

"You know, I don't disagree that the coloreds should have more rights, but did they really need to sit at the lunch counter all day? I couldn't sit at the counter and it made my lunch take so much longer. Really inconvenient to everyone trying to get some food.

I just wished they'd go about it differently. They're liable to make people even less accepting of them if they keep pulling stunts like that."

I hope you know that's what you sound like. Like, read the first paragraph of MLK Jr's Letter from Birmingham Jail and you'll see your argument in the "white moderate":

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."

He just has very pert nipples. Showing themselves through his shirt.

Passerby6497 ,

And dead people are just alive people who stopped living.

Passerby6497 ,

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure the ghost that taught DD Palmer the art of chiropracticness was totally legit. DD even said the ghost was a doctor, why would you not believe him?!?

Passerby6497 ,

They also asked for ideas that would make the world a better place, which this wouldn't. So it's just a dumb idea with mainly negative side effects.

Passerby6497 ,

And at scale it will eat into investor returns, making holding them empty a less profitable endeavor. They would suddenly go from having a neutral MRR asset turned into a negative MRR if they choose not to rent out. You can bet your sweet bippy that the bean counters are going to notice the difference and argue to sell or rent them to cut the expenses.

Passerby6497 ,

That's where you print the downloaded PDF to a new PDF. New hash and same content, good luck tracing it back to me fucko.

Passerby6497 ,

Why would it cause degradation? You're not recompressing anything, you're taking the visible content and writing it to a new PDF file.

Passerby6497 ,

Wouldn't printing the PDF to a new PDF inherently strip the metadata put there by the publisher?

Passerby6497 ,

Also, consider what was going on 4 years ago: COVID. Gas prices went up because people are using their vehicles again , and because of that, oil isn't in the negatives and gas prices rise.

Passerby6497 ,

I don't have to agree with their methods or their ideology to recognise their right to protest.

And I don't have to not recognize their right to protest while also recognizing that their protest, while bringing attention to the cause that won't move the needle, is also bringing attention to the cause that will also set their purported goals back.

Passerby6497 ,

Stone and a significant portion of those people are on the same side. A larger amount are useful idiots who prefer to moralize about what should be instead of doing the base amount to prevent more of the harm they profess to care about.

Passerby6497 ,

In the context of a shooting by cops I’m using “no threat” to mean no threat that merits deadly force, not that it wasnt a crazy situation.

The only thing you have that even remotely begins to resemble a point is that she posed no VISIBLE threat. Which, when you're protecting high value targets, is fucking meaningless.

If you were a world leader and saw a mob of angry empty headed idiots coming towards you while their friends outside are talking about hanging one of your superiors, are you really going to pretend that's not a threat?

but the situation in which that woman was shot didn’t constitute a threat to anyone that merited deadly force.

It absolutely did, and deadly force was merited well before it was used. Again, a mob of people chanting they wanted to hang a politician violently broke into the antechamber for many politicians that may have carried concealed weapons or explosives.

Just because you're not capable of seeing why deadly force was more than justified doesn't mean it wasn't, and your arguments willfully ignore the context and surrounding factors that harm your argument

Passerby6497 ,

If anything they were shocked by what levels conservative civilians were ready to go to for their completely unfounded beliefs.

And just how far the government was willing to let them go before they took off the kid gloves and began to consider treating them even somewhat like the George Floyd protestors were treated.

It was rather eye opening to see the dichotomy between law enforcement response between protests that started non violently protesting in the street vs an angry mob marching on Congress while they actively tried to do a peaceful transfer of power.

Passerby6497 ,

You'd have to dismantle the right wing propaganda network that's being coopted by hostile powers to damage trust in our government and sow discontent amongst the populace.

But unfortunately, the right would rightly see this as an attack on them, because their media ecosystem is the generator of this shit...

Passerby6497 ,

That's amazing, I hate it. Thank you for sharing that!

Passerby6497 ,

Afaik, christians don't see the devil as a god, but as one of god's minions tasked with temping the flock or having them prove their faith or some shit.

Passerby6497 ,

This is the way I'm doing stuff. I only have electric yard tools, and really only mow when I have to for the city. I'm hoping to replace most of my front lawn with garden beds over the coming years!

Passerby6497 ,

Sure, then I can pay for a mower or two in city fines every year!

Passerby6497 ,

I definitely would not call it fun by any stretch, but mowing is tolerable to enjoyable for me. I've got an electric self propelled and a podcast, and I'm done in like 25-35 min. If anything it's more annoying to break out the trimmer to get the edge stuff then lower can't get, but I also only mow like once a month (to keep the city happy )so I don't do it often enough to be annoyed by it.

Passerby6497 ,

As long as you stay on top of the pruning hand tools get the job done

Ah, you've hit me with my ADHD kryptonite, remembering to regularly do (and actually completing) normal tasks like that.

Passerby6497 ,

Democrats need to vote in congressional elections.

"But the democratic candidates aren't perfect or exciting or far left enough, so I'm going to stay home and teach them a lesson!"

Narrator: that lesson? That your (left) vote isn't worth fighting for, so they go right to get votes. V. O. T. E.

To add to your point, not voting is ceding power to those who would (and do!) act against you and your best interests. Perfect is the enemy of good. No candidate exists that shares all your views, so the only way to make things better is to vote for the better option that can win so the worse option doesn't roll back progress. If that's not good enough, run for office yourself locally or invest in local parties to change your locale for the better.

Passerby6497 ,

It doesn't take much to run locally. I know someone who wanted to be a member of the county board and he did so without doing much more than some mass mailers to constituents.

Going for bigger offices you have a point, but not on the super local level.

Passerby6497 ,

Wow, Bibi wasn't quite far right enough for this Jewish Nazi. And fucking ironic he's talking about 'Islamo-Nazi' s.

Passerby6497 ,

That's not a culture war, that's basic social responsibility being fought against by corporations.

The right: like you said, culture war stuff!

Passerby6497 ,

I don't know, Mr. Hands seemed to like it for a while...

Passerby6497 ,

...did you miss the state that banned him and got overturned by trump's goons on the SCROTUS?

Passerby6497 ,

What's the difference between a wild and a feral horse? Isn't going feral just kinda like going back to being a wild animal?

Passerby6497 ,

How do you get electoral reform when no one you vote for gets elected, and everyone who does get elected has no reason to pay any attention to your opinion?

Passerby6497 ,

But it's not the EnTiRe RaCe, so it's just sparkling ethnic cleansing.

Passerby6497 ,

“This trial has been nothing more than a distraction from the real crimes of the Biden Crime Family, which we're still trying to find evidence of, but we're sure they've gained a Brazilian dollars from their time in politics"

Passerby6497 ,

I still haven't finished it. So many stars are just unlikable and the pacing (of the half I saw) is just not enough to keep it entertaining enough to overcome the cringey 'just look at how awful everyone in power is' caricatures.

Passerby6497 ,

the whole trilogy, it's a damn masterpiece

An unpopular opinion from OP themselves.

I like the matrix series, but the two sequels are far from being masterpieces. The 2nd was a good action set piece, but the 3rd one got a bit up its own ass at times trying to fit all the exposition in with the action scenes.

Passerby6497 ,

Eh, there's usually one or two people who survived to be murdered off screen or in a later movie.

ISP security is clown shoes at times. I was reading a blog post of a dude who played with their ISP APIs and was able to make changes to his own router because authenticated API endpoints returned data unauthenticated multiple times because they could just send the same request multiple times until it returned data. They fixed it quick, but still ....

https://samcurry.net/hacking-millions-of-modems

Passerby6497 ,

I'm also surprised that one of these threat-detection things people talk about wasn't triggered when he was literally sending with "123456789" in most of the fields of a request.

Considering their systems allowed data return just because they got asked repeatedly, I'm not surprised at all. You'd be surprised the seemingly important metrics that don't get monitored and reported on during day to day operations.

Why was Trump talking about sharks at a campaign event? ( www.usatoday.com )

"It must be because of M.I.T., my relationship with M.I.T., very smart. I say, 'What would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery, and the battery is now underwater, and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there?" Trump said. "By the way, lot...
