"Frequencies of new onset symptoms (in #PostCovid)
Among participants with #LongCOVID, the most common symptoms were post-exertional malaise (87%), fatigue (85%), brain fog (64%), dizziness or lightheadedness (62%), GI (59%), & palpitations (57%)."
It’s unethical that COVID is frequently left out of conversations about public transport accessibility. Many disabled and higher risk people haven’t been able to access public transport for years due to the lack of masks and clean air. This is a huge equity issue.

“People are developing new-onset disease as the result of an infection that they had 3 years ago,” says Ziyad Al-Aly, “It challenges the notion that these viruses are sort of self-contained or that after the acute phase, they become inconsequential.”
"And cumulatively, at three years, #longCOVID results in 91 disability-adjusted life years (DALY) per 1,000 people—DALYs being a measure of years lost to poor health or premature death. That is a higher incidence than either heart disease or cancer."
"Risks for post-acute sequelae declined over the years, but substantial residual risk remained in the third year, leading to 252.8 sequelae per 1,000 persons& 90.0 DALYs per 1,000 persons”
It occurred to me today that even though over 1 million Americans have died from Covid, we have no national memorial or national day day of mourning and how the powers that be have decided to memory hole the whole thing and how wrong this is.
The way the mainstream media covers Bird Flu is wild. It's like a watchman who sees a giant ogre coming and says, "There's on ogre out there. But don't worry, he's walking the other way. Oop! He's walking this way, but he's probly headed somewhere else. Oh, ok, he's headed this way, but he probably won't eat anybody when he gets here. Ok, he's here, but so far he's only looking at folks hungrily. He's probably just window shopping. Ok, so now..." #avianflu#birdflu#CovidIsNotOver#uspolitics#media

“North Carolina Shelves Controversial Mask Ban Bill Amid Public Outcry”
“North Carolina's House Bill 237, which aimed to criminalize wearing masks in public, has been temporarily shelved due to widespread online protests and petitions.”
I dunno if anyone will not have heard, but the fancy Cue Health NAAT molecular #Covid test, with the handheld gizmo, has been revealed to be a near-fraud. The FDA found that the company implemented non-approved changes to reagent formulations and device firmware post-EUA that will have significantly reduced the test’s accuracy.
In response to the FDA’s letter, the company elected to go out of business.

"This is the first US surge with no hospital data... Remember when CDC said that hospital metrics would be the trigger for prevention protections, like the return of masking?"
