Yeah I'm a socialist and agree with a lot of what Marx wrote and no fucking way do I support anything Russia is doing in Ukraine. Tbh I'm disheartened that Russia hasn't suffered more severe internal consequences for this illegal invasion. Ukraine has every right to fight and retake its sovereign land, including attacking assets inside Russia.

I do feel bad for the Russian people in general, but that's not because of any politics, I feel the same way about Palestinians, Sudanese, Haitians, and the people of Myanmar. Anyone suffering under the tyranny of small dick leaders.

Holy fuck tank combat that close hasn't happened since WWII. Looks like the Bradley got some hits in at range and for some reason the BTR just ran towards them and the crew correctly responded by closing the gap with continuous fire. Superior optics and stabilization makes all the difference.

Looks like the first guy at :14 was definitely hit by the 25mm. Not even sure what a 25mm AP round does to a human, just make a big hole I guess. Could also be reactive armor, but looked like a body rolling.

I think the 2nd guy was bailing but was probably already concussed from all those hits. He definitely didn't take the landing well.

Imo the contrast between Starship and SLS are even starker, but in the opposite direction. I hope I'm wrong (I want as much in space as possible) but SpaceX seems to be running pretty rough and roudy for manned missions rn. They're popping off these experimental rockets like toys with very short turnaround. But to be fair they did the same with Falcon-IX and it's a success now so again I could be wrong.

The alternative being you sit down, put in the time, and resources and have a 100% success rate like SLS. Ofc the catch being it costs like 10x but NASA doesn't have the luxury of televisied launch failures. I'm just REALLY concerned something fails with humans to the moon in it and poof that's that for a another 5 decades. There's a reason extremely valuable launches like human life and the JWST are done on tested platforms like Soyuz and Aireon VI.

That being said yeah the Boeing craft looks even worse rn. I'm surprised they let it even dock with all the issues.

You shoot HDE files on the Alexa35? My post team recently got back a mag that Premiere (even Beta) absolutely refused to read even after trying it run it through Arri's HDE decoder software. Couldn't get it to load on Avid either, but could just be lacking some weird extension. Had to make ProRes transcodes through Resolve which was painful af to toss all that quality out.
