Fmr Trump comms dir #AlyssaFarahGriffin revealed that Trump called for the #execution of a staffer on several occasions during his time in the WH—& the disturbing news (& Trump’s even more troubling reaction) is already fading from headlines.
#Griffin told Mediaite on Fri that #Trump called to #execute a staffer who leaked a story about him hiding in a bunker during the 2020 #BlackLivesMatter protests in response to the murder of George Floyd.
Griffin went on to call out fmr AG #BillBarr, whom she claimed knew of the whole thing when asked about the report in a CNN interview in April.
During that CNN interview, Barr did in fact seem to justify the remarks, claiming #Trump “would lose his temper” & “blow off steam” by calling to #execute people. Creepily, Barr noted that eventually Trump could be talked down from his desire to see people he got upset w/put to death, saying, “I doubt he would’ve actually carried it out.”
The #Project2025 plan calls for a sweeping reorganization of the executive branch, one that would concentrate more #power in #Trump’s hands. At the #EPA, it recommends eliminating the office of #environmental#justice, which was created in 2022 to address the #pollution that disproportionately harms poor & minority communities.
While helpful, the provision won’t be a panacea, said Tim Whitehouse, the exec dir of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility [#PEER ], a nonprofit…, which helped advise #AFGE on the #ScientificIntegrity language.
“It will be impossible to fully #Trump-proof any agency or protect any #scientist if Trump wins a new term & either the #House or #Senate is in #Republican control,” Whitehouse said. “Then there will be absolutely no meaningful #oversight.”

Well, I've followed and watched Bill's programs for many years, and he's always took this piss out of whichever party is in power (as a general rule) - but - this last term of Biden's he's been radically different. His nervousness of trump getting back in (trump sued him for $5m) is palpable!
He's been a life long Democratic Pragmatist for as long as I've known. And he always wants to know how his Republican adversaries think - hence the platforming.
Oh, I should add to my other answer that, yes, he's pretty bad at the vaccine thing, and I just ignore it because smart people know better than that, and he's an atheist who has a huge loyalty (family) to Israel - no matter what they do to whoever.
All in all, I wouldn't want to spend an evening with him...not really. Could even come to blows! 😅

@multiverseofbadness I see tons of political content and I don't attempt to follow political accounts intentionally. It's just that lots of people boost political stuff and people seem oblivious to the fact that people use fillters here to filter out the most used hashtags for certain content like this. Therefore, whenever they "create" a new hashtag, they are unintentionally skirting our filters. Some are intentionally doing that as well...😬
