The average of all polls on the day before Trump's conviction had Trump in the lead by 1.2 percentage points.

Then he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records, and it has been all over the news for more than two weeks.

The result? Trump is in the lead by 1.1 percentage points.

Something is seriously wrong in the US.

short: ignore the polls vote for blue ! in the u.s..

look whose buying those polls, they almost like russian pollsters, u.s. media wants to keep horse race for ratings.

even in last election in finland, pollsters were seriously wrong, finnish polls are more trustworthy than u.s. ones.

my guess is that at this point, republicans know that trump is hardcore criminal, and they don't care.

and again, ignore polls, vote blue ! always vote !

The EU parliament elections have turned Denmark upside down.

All my life, Danish politics has been dominated by two parties: The Social Democrats which is centrist and Venstre which is financially more liberal but also centrist.

Now, The Social Democrats loses 6 percent of the vote and only barely keeps 3 seats, and Venstre is halved from 4 down to 2 seats.

Most impressingly, the climate focused, socialist party SF becomes the biggest party and gains a third seat.

in finland, first, turnout was ~40%, so quite low.

but some kind of change is brewing. nationalist right-wingers the finns party got a blow. but economic right-wingers kept their seats. left alliance manage to get huge gains, which is not moderate left like sdp party is.

in the last national parliamentary elections in 2023, right-wingers build a right-wing government. so i think, some kind counter force is going on.

it is still mixed bag of good and bad news.

i think it is way past time for gop to redeem themself. so, donald trump is almost perfect face for obnoxious gop.

sooner or later, war in ukraine will end. and china is smart enough to plan ahead. china wants vassal state, some kind of satellite state where china reaps russian economy for profit.
