I’ll read about it and likely get just as angry as if I were to watch it. So lose/lose for me. I’ll have to take a break from social media for a day or so, I’m sure.

I normally just post dumb jokes and even dumber puns, but I do like to occasionally post something real, from my life.

This morning I’m posting some images I took in the prelude to a huge storm from the deck out back.

With that in mind, which of the following photos do you think is best?

This photo is taken without the lake in the foreground, but includes the treetops. This allows for a larger amount of sky in the image. Just above the center of the frame is the brightest portion of the sunlight. It was a truly spectacular view.
This shot includes more lake and even a tree from the close shoreline of the lake. This was an attempt to be more scenic with the brightest part of the sky in the top right. Super spiffy!
Last but not least is a photo without zoom. There are trees in the foreground both far right and far left. Left is a pine tree and right is a naked white oak. The image hosts a thin line of the lake, far shoreline with its trees, and the sky. The brightest spot is just right and down from center. So much more sky!

It’s actually a photo of David Brandt, the Ohio farmer behind the “honest work” meme. He was a pioneer for “no-till farming”. He recently passed away. 😪

I adopted the avatar a few years ago prior to his passing. I’d spent some time reading about him quite a while back and was impressed with his work. Kind of a REAL hero out there changing the world for the better, even if it’s only a little bit at a time. “It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.”

Aye just feeling a little upside down today! Worked in the garden a little too aggressively and I’m wore out.

I don’t have a rototiller, so it was all shovel work. I had to remove about half of last year’s soil to make room for compost. I don’t have a huge garden, about 8’ x 24’. Just room enough for about 8 tomato plants and various other veg (carrots, potatoes, onions, jalapeños, zucchini and various beans) mixed in and around the garden. Fun! Sore…

I’ve also decided to relocate the compost heap. Been having trouble getting it to heat up properly. It was either find a new spot with more sun exposure or trim back a beautiful elf pine tree. I chose not to do the latter, so I had to move it. More shoveling (actually pitchforking if that’s a word) and wheel barrowing (pretty sure that’s not a word).

I’ve been on phone w Verizon all this time. Mr. Laffy’s been on with them for 2 1/2 hours on his phone, been disconnected 2x, being sent to diff numbers which lead him back to the original. We were JUST told that oops! They don’t cover the Internet connection! Frontier does! Wrong number, folks! So Mr. Laffy called Frontier. Guess what? Frontier’s tech support is not working today! GAAAAA!

He’s now calling again & trying a different extension. So, covering #TrumpTrial is, well, on hold. 🤬🤦🏻‍♀️
