Hunt pushed back, “My colleagues, #JakeTapper & #DanaBash have acquitted themselves as professionals as they have covered campaigns & interviewed candidates from all sides of the aisle.”
Hunt added, “I’ll also say that if you talk to analysts of debates, previous, that if you’re attacking the #moderators, you’re usually losing.”
Hunt then asked what #Trump’s team expects from #Biden at the debate, but the spox again attacked Tapper.
“Well, first of all, it takes about 5 mins to Google #JakeTapper, Donald Trump to see that Jake Tapper has…” Leavitt said before Hunt cut her off, warning, “ma’am, we’re going to stop this interview if you’re going to keep attacking my colleagues.”
Leavitt continued anyway. Hunt instructed the #CNN control room to cut the feed of Leavitt & pivoted back to a panel discussion on the upcoming #debate.

It would have been great had Hunt directly into camera said "you heard it here, Trump spox said that the strategy is to preemptively whine about the debate being unfair to him, that's how the former president and 34 time convicted felon will approach Thursday's debate. Seems like a cowardly way to go about words that may or may not be said 72 hours from now, but that's what the spox answered to: #Trump “is gonna to do differently on the #debate stage this time"
If you really thought #Trump was going to wipe the floor with "Sleepy Joe," you wouldn't spend the whole week before the #debate smearing the moderator and preemptively accusing #Biden of being on performance enhancing drugs
