Perhaps a better option would be if people stopped putting their faith in false prophets like TFG. Then they wouldn't need to utterly lose their shit. He will read pages 6-35.

Each page yesterday took him just a little more than a minute, so this will take >30 mins.

Between that & the testimony readbacks, also expected to take >30 mins, there will likely be >1 hour this morning w/the jury in the courtroom, not actively deliberating.

A false story is spreading on Mastodon and other social media, claiming that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes, Ukraine cannot join NATO in the next 30 years.

I investigated this, and it is a lie. As anyone can see from this video, Scholz is talking about how Putin used a potential NATO membership as an excuse for attacking Ukraine, and Scholz is saying that AT THE TIME, he did not expect Ukraine to join NATO in the next 30 years.

7 kilometers in 7 days — that’s the distance you walk in an hour, only it took a week for the Russians to get that far into Kharkiv Oblast.

From analysis I have read this week, Russia has lost more than 7,000 soldiers to take strips of forrest, and small settlements.

The invaders have now reached the first of two Ukrainian defensive lines which run east to west, and with the relatively few soldiers and limited armored resources they have committed, they will likely not get much further.

I mean that's almost one year increase for every year of his term. Something of a tall ask I feel. Or is he planning to kill off any likely shorter lived citizens. Or the easier approach - stop getting his younger people killed in foreign wars. That'd be a good start. It'd bring the average up a bit.

Sometimes I wish just one Republican state would leave the US to found it's own country.

Just one, which could try out all the book burning, closed borders, fewer women's rights, religios politics, non-scientific medicine — so everyone could really see, what that leads to.

For years, politicians in Europe blamed everything on the EU, but I can assure you, when Britain left our union and became a country with considerable challenges, it crushed the EU blame game in many countries.
