It is a special thing to climb up Glastonbury Tor in the dense fog and as you get to the top it clears so that you can see for miles around. Trees peeping through the mist as you listen to the birdsong. This is the view from the top looking down towards the Somerset levels.

A bit windy this morning, gusting at 55mph so I decided not to go up the top of Glastonbury Tor today and stuck to the lanes. A brief flash of colour in amongst the storm clouds just after sunrise.

It was really hazy at sunrise this morning and the colour in the sky lasted for a lot longer than normal even way after the sun had risen. This was about 30 minutes after sunrise in Glastonbury.
