I absolutely do NOT follow politics, but am addicted to reddit & Lemmy in my downtime when I'm not doing yoga or massaging people or sleeping and it's pretty impossible to avoid getting hit in the head with posts mentioning political figures every time we leisurely browse Lemmy.

I have a job. For years I've been trying to save up for an air conditioner. "Maybe I'll finally have enough saved up by this summer. No probably by winter I'll be able to afford one." is what I'm telling myself now and what I've been telling myself for years.

anyway, last summer All I could do exhausted after work everyday was lay here and sweat on a towel and drink water.

Maybe he saved up enough from his 4 years of being a doctor out in the mainstream system, and he invested his six-figure earnings from those 4 years, and he's living in a modest home, driving a modest car and living within his means. Not wealthy. But surviving okay.

I'm just curious how he has enough revenue to keep his medical supplies current and up-to-date and enough to pay overhead in the space he works out of, in addition to paying to survive, and he's a one-man show, so how does he have enough time to rest and exercise and take care of himself In addition to taking care of all the constant influx of low income people seeking medical care from him

Don't worry about what you're looking at or what's around you. Try this life hack: Concentrate on your thoughts.

  1. Go through your mind and start thinking of all the things you're grateful for.

  2. Do simple math problems in your head.

things like that. They keep your mind busy and if you're worried about what people think of you when they see you, if your mind is occupied with things like that, people around you will see you as genuinely pensive with no affectations or awkwardness.

And if you're still worried about what you're looking at, there is a concept in yoga called DRISHTI, which is "the thing (s) you happen to be looking at when you are concentrating or deep in thought." It doesn't matter what you're looking at and It's okay to look at nothing in particular when you're concentrating /deep in thought.

And if he had practically no commute between home and work, at best he got maybe 6 hours of sleep per night. Then immediately back to work. I wonder when he had a chance to eat or use the restroom. I suppose he ate & used the restroom while he was stuck at work.

Do you have other sociopathic traits which cause you to thoughtlessly selfishly behave in ways that disturb others/wake people up with heart attacks/wake up sleeping babies/cause noise pollution, for your own pleasure? Do you feel like silence is an uncomfortable void that must always be filled? Do you not realize that silence is the neutral mode in which we all live peaceably, and when silence is broken it's best done purposefully & meaningfully, not obnoxious & intrusive & selfish? Who wants to hear your music? YOU do. No one else does.

Keep your car music at a volume that only you can hear. Nobody else wants to hear it. And if you wear headphones while driving, at least that will get you thrown in jail or suspended driver license so society will be better without people like you out there.
