I am not feeling the 4th of July this year. It is hard to celebrate America while women’s rights are being wiped out and SCOTUS is elevating a convicted rapist above the law. — Does anyone else feel this way?

I am an American. In fact, I am a Uni Hill grade school American. Where my teachers taught us an idea, really a promise of Liberty, Equality, and Justice in a democracy governed by the rule of law.

A promise sadly unrealized, but whose vision gives Hope to all.

It’s time for all Americans to remember, we are Americans.

I, for one, won’t go quietly.

so. in January I was in a bad car accident. fractured spine, ruptured discs, cracked pelvis, broken arm. last 4 months have been v hard. tonight though I'm going back to my adult dance class for the first time. I wasn't sure I'd ever even walk properly again so this is a moment for me. a good one

these are late bc they required a child to send photos lol but my daughter was on an overnight ferry out in the Pacific ocean (near Haida Gwaii, BC) when the northern lights came.

The kids had one of the nights of their lives. I think these are great, so I'm putting them here

    Today someone accused me of stealing a joke that I posted. I told them I write everything I post myself and asked if they could show me the original joke that they thought I stole. I guess they were unable to find it, and naturally, instead of admitting they were wrong they proceeded to block me. I am many things (a fiend, a heathen, a self-proclaimed titan of industry, etc.) but I am no joke thief.
