I think we've reach a point where the regular citizens, en masse, need to stop complying with rulings made by a SCOTUS that is objectively owned and dictated to by a bunch of sociopathic oligarchs.
It becomes more clear every day that the DOJ nor our elected officials are going to take any action to stop their treason or even take steps to mitigate their corrupted rulings.
It's our country, regardless what they think, and we need to take it back. Ourselves.

Stories about Trump raising more money than Biden last month after he became a convicted criminal are a bit misleading in that one billionaire Timothy Mellon gave Trump $50M. The implication is that Trump received a groundswell of public support related to his felony conviction. While he may be getting some MAGA minion dollars, the reality is he is primarily getting hefty support from the twisted fascist billionaires trying to take over this country.

Are you shocked by this news? Or is it exactly what you would expect?

Major oil companies have made splashy climate pledges to cut their greenhouse gas emissions, but a new report suggests those plans do not stand up to scrutiny.

“There is no evidence that big oil and gas companies are acting seriously to be part of the energy transition,” David Tong, global industry campaign manager at Oil Change International, who co-authored the analysis, said in a statement.

The report’s authors used 10 criteria and ranked each aspect of each company’s plan on a spectrum from “fully aligned” to “grossly insufficient” and found all eight companies ranked “grossly insufficient” or “insufficient” on nearly all criteria.

The US firms Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and ExxonMobil each ranked “grossly insufficient” on all 10 criteria.

“American fossil-fuel corporations are the worst of the worst,” Allie Rosenbluth, US program manager at Oil Change International, said in a statement.

The authors found that the companies’ current oil and gas extraction plans could lead to more than 2.4C of global temperature rise, which would probably usher in climate devastation. The eight firms alone are on track to use 30% of the world’s remaining global carbon budget to keep global average temperature rise to 1.5C.

This revelation comes on the heels of learning RFK Jr. failed to disclose he had a brain worm until he was confronted with it and his delay in filing his financial disclosure form.

In response, DNC Senior Advisor Mary Beth Cahill said the following:
“The more we learn about RFK Jr, the more questions we have.

Boeing shareholders approved a $33M pay package for CEO Dave Calhoun, despite overseeing huge losses and safety problems.

It's the biggest package ever given to a Boeing CEO.

Calhoun is resigning by year's end. Guess what he gets then?

    A $45 million golden parachute.

    Unreal.

CEO's and their enablers (namely, those who hope to someday become a CEO) are essentially a criminal organization whose purpose is to ensure that it's members are protected from legal accountability and retribution by stockholders and/or the injured (sometimes dead) parties.
Like the 'mob', or the 'mafia'.

Missourian's passed an independent redistricting initiative in 2018 and were tricked into revoking it in 2020 due to a to gross ballot deception by the MO repugs. The MO repugs do not want voters to vote. They don't want pesky citizens to direct their actions. They have demonstrated this over and over and over again.

Trump continues to vow to his billionaire supporters that he'd extend their tax cuts if reelected.

These cuts have already helped billionaires' grow their fortunes by $2 trillion.

It's crystal clear who Trump works for — and it sure as hell isn't the working class.

He is literally selling the office of POTUS for "donations". HOW does this not disqualify him from getting on any ballot? HOW is someone selling the office of POTUS not illegal?
    HOW?????????

    @CindyS@masto.nu avatar

    @coyoty @rbreich

    I'm serious.
HOW IS THIS NOT FUCKING ILLEGAL?
The more I contrast reality with what this county is supposed to stand for and how there are supposed to be checks and balances to prevent this gross abuse of power, the more clear it becomes that we have been intentionally and systematically lied to since birth.
There are no checks and balances, SCOTUS is corrupt, the office of POTUS is for sale, and everything the US says about itself is a lie, and apparently always has been.

Ron DeSantis signed a law that prevents municipalities in Florida from requiring that employers provide shade and water breaks for outdoor workers.

A study found that heat-related deaths in FL shot up by 88% between 2019 and 2022.

Folks, this is the GOP's vision for America.

TX and FL are the shit holes the tangerine twatgrabber was so worried about.

Why does Josh Marshall think Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders might be on Trump's short list as a v-p candidate?

"She’s an effective bully. She’s nasty. She’s not nice. …

In other words, SHS is really the worst American politics has to offer: crooked, a big liar and an enemy of all accountability. But that’s what Trump likes."

On the plus side, if she is his running mate, she'll have to abandon her role as AR gov, correct? That's GOT to be a win.
Unfortunately, the MAGA Party has a nasty way of finding someone worse to replace those that are displaced.

    Four facts:

    1. If Trump stole nat'l secrets, he must face justice.

    2. Thanks to Judge Cannon, it now seems impossible for a trial to happen before the election.

    3. If he's reelected, he will never face trial.

    4. Therefore, Trump must be defeated as a matter of nat'l security

The problem is, they cheat. They are cheating every day, in every constituency. They are blocking voters from voting, they are gerrymandering, they are literally planning on taking power by violence if necessary. If they take power, the only recourse will be a shooting war. Or give up and let the fascists take America.
