May I spray you with the hose in a playful fashion?

Aggravationstation ,

Never been a thing at McDonalds here in the UK.

I'd like to imagine that Ric Flair, the woman and that dude in the background are just constantly wooo-ing each other whilst I sit on the other side of the restaurant and enjoy a slice of pepperoni.

Aggravationstation ,

Every surface would be covered in chewing tobacco so standing would be preferable. Also I'm not sure but that might be a urinal trough in front of the bar. Common before women were allowed into bars.

Aggravationstation ,

Truly? Or are you just angry at people at this present time.

Aggravationstation ,

I understand where you're coming from. Everyone has some evil in them. Not going to lie, I think about doing some awful shit.

I haven't done any of it. But I'm not sure if the reason I haven't is truly because I don't want to cause the impact I know it would, if I'm just afraid of the consequences or it's because I've been conditioned to not by being raised in society.

We're animals at the end of the day, but I think we're getting better overall.

It's an older meme, sir. But it does check out.

What do you think of the term "short king" as a term that's supposed to champion body positivity for men?

Body positivity is such a strange concept to me. There's efforts to reclaim words while simultaneously calling them bad if used as an insult. Ideally, people wouldn't be offended by someone describing their body with common descriptors, but socially there is so much value attributed to certain body types that it's almost...

I don't remember women being taller than their partners being that big of a deal, until people making fun of it became a meme on the internet.

The short king thing is just another meme on the internet.

Aggravationstation ,

Yea it seems the internet became like a series of echo chambers rather than the democratic exchange we thought it would be.

Is that whole sobriety test thing real in the US? Like, stand on one leg and recite the alphabet etc? I've seen it on TV but always thought it was pretty stupid. In the UK the police have breath-tested for drink driving since 1967.

I always hated Monkey and PG Tips, the tea brand he advertised. He turned his back on co-star Johnny Vegas and Johnny was never the same after that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ck45ni5C

I'm a lifelong Tetley Tea and Tetley Tea folk man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un5lzlqeL-A

Is nobody going to mention the face, stilettos and hand bag this business weiner is also carrying?

Aggravationstation ,

Hey! I'm a guy and I love when women breathe too

Aggravationstation ,

I've never had any problems with different brands. I use BIC blades at the moment because you can do subscribe and save with them on Amazon, at least here in the UK. But you can sometimes get a better deal when buying in bulk.

I shaved my head with a safety razor when I first started as well as my face. I rarely cut myself on my face but it took a while to get used to holding the skin taut on my head to straighten it out before I stopped cutting myself there. But the cuts you do get tend to be very light rather than the deep gouges I got on the rare occasions my cartridge slipped off the handle. A piece of toilet paper should stop the bleeding and they should heal within a day at most.

Also, I'd recommend switching to using a shaving butter or soap rather than a foam. Makes it easier to see what you're doing.

Please don't link to Reddit. We need to leave it behind.

Only English fluently.

I can speak a tiny bit of Spanish. Enough to order food, ask for directions etc.

I can also sort of decipher the meaning of sentences in German, but not fast enough to have a conversation.

Aggravationstation ,

Hey. People who use Arch are still kind of people. You may not like it, I certainly don't, but we have to learn to live in the world with them.

Aggravationstation ,

I'll bet it all on the first level of Simpsons arcade.

Aggravationstation ,

Most political stuff on Lemmy is either hardcore communist or US centric, neither of which I know much about so avoid.

I only pay attention to the UK centric stuff as that's what I understand being that I live here.

I wish I preferred the look on the left, but I know for a fact a girl giving me the one on the right would interest me more.

But minidiscs were so much cooler. They came in neon colours and you felt like a super hacker man when you clunked them into a player and used them for storing data rather than music.

In order of the first time: caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, cannabis, LSD, amphetamine sulphate, cocaine, ecstasy, pure MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, ketamine, DMT.

I always preferred psychedelics but they're hard to find where I live.

I spent most of about a 6 month period when I was 18 on ecstasy. It had some negative effects but it helped me deeply connect with my best friend who I remained close to for nearly 20 years.

I'd recommend trying pure MDMA, especially with someone you care about, if you can 100% trust the source. I'd also strongly recommend DO NOT TAKE ECSTASY TABLETS. Thanks to the war on drugs they rarely contain anything close to MDMA these days but are likely to contain fentanyl and other nasty crap.

The most evil drug I've ever encountered is alcohol. That's what ultimately took my friend's life. It did it slowly over the course of most of her life but she still died in her thirties. The final years were horrible. With what it did to her body but also her mind. Most of the violent crime in my country involves people who are intoxicated on alcohol.

Weed was always my favourite drug and still is. I can't do it anymore because I'm in a job that tests. Also I don't live in a country where it's legal so I don't think I could even score it anymore. The people I used to buy it from either quit themselves or died from other drugs.

In an ideal world I'd smoke weed at most 10 times a year and take LSD twice. But I can't imagine either will be legal in my country in my lifetime.

I sometimes think I may have something similar to tourettes. It's not involuntary, I can stop it when I'm around people for the most part. But I've always had moments of stammering and often move from inner monologue to speaking to myself out loud without realising. It's caused multiple awkward moments with people I encounter. One woman was so scared as she was getting out of her car with me speaking to myself on the street next to her that she immediately got back in and drove away.

I moved from that to making random and mostly obscene statements when I'm on my own a few years ago.

I put it down to living alone for the last 14 years.

Now I'll never find the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles lair. Thanks Thatcher

God, I would hate to have to work out my taxes every year laughs in British
