The roadblock is, of course, the Constitution.

This happens regularly with bills introduced by 's legislature full of dildos. Untold millions of taxpayer dollars have been spent losing the inevitable lawsuits. (These clowns have tried multiple times to pass a law that would make the Bible the official state book!)

Greg Olear does an in-depth analysis of the plans Heritage Foundation in store for all of us, if Trump is elected — plans that are out in the open and public, so that if we vote for Trump, we're voting for these plans to be imposed on ourselves and the whole nation.

He notes that Mike Roberts, who heads Heritage Foundation, is an ultra-right Catholic who makes plain that he wants to dismantle democracy in favor of theocracy.

Roberts is closely connected to the Supreme Court kingmaker Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society, another ultra-right Catholic with the same goals. Roberts' game plan for America is to elevate the "traditional" family — one man and one woman — above all other family models and to treat LGBTQ people as if they do not exist, rolling back all rights to protect them against discrimination.

“'We don’t want that filth in our state,' an Oklahoma state senator said of LGBTQ students, who are being targeted by at least 50 Republican-supported bills in the legislature with full endorsement from the secretary of education.

Tom Woods, a Republican from far northeastern Oklahoma, made the comments two weeks after a nonbinary student who was being bullied at school died suddenly under mysterious circumstances."

state senator Tom Woods responded to a question on Nex Benedict's death that he will "keep that filth out of the state".

And I'm not surprised at all - it is Oklahoma.

But it shows the end point of everything they've laid out, that it's now acceptable and safe to say what they always thought, without any consequences for it.

Anything that isn't cis-het is made up and must be outlawed. And if that means these 'apostates' are killed getting to it, so be it.

Jonathan Weiler on how the critical point for contextualizing what awaits us if Trump is elected is that the end of Roe did not represent the culmination of a decades-long political project, but only a beginning of a nationwide project of controlling reproductive rights and the sexual choices of citizens, with a religious minority in the driver's seat.

Today in Labor History February 22, 2004: Education Secretary Rod Paige called the nation’s largest teachers union, the National Education Association (NEA), a terrorist organization. Meanwhile, the Bush administration was imprisoning citizens and non-citizens indefinitely without trial for being “terrorists” and implementing a massive surveillance program that continues to this day.

Time for us to live up to the moniker:
    *Say "Gay" in the classroom
*Refuse to report your trans, nonbinary and GNC students
*Maintain a secret library of banned books
    *Teach evolution
*Teach the scientific consensus that neither sex, nor gender, are binary
*Teach about the history of Palestinian oppression & the ongoing Genocide in Gaza
    *Teach a people's and a working-class history
*Teach the history of marginalized and oppressed people
*Teach about U.S. imperialism and its myriad war crimes

Conservatives are absolutely incensed that the funeral for Cecilia Gentili, a trans woman, activist, icon, and former sex worker, was held at St. Patrick's.

They've pressured the Archdiocese into holding a "Mass of Reparation" to get the cooties out of the cathedral.

In one particularly shameless example, a Heritage Foundation writer repeatedly called Gentili a "dead prostitute."

My new WIP, an original novel named , will be a fun one. It's a / story. My intended audience would be science fiction and cyberpunk lovers, of course. Those who enjoy + stories are on the list as well because the MC turns out to be pansexual within the story. Anyone with an open mind will enjoy this wild tale. Any and players too, of course.
