My friend Little Mate this morning. He's still bringing his mate Maple lots of food, I think they have a new nest, but I haven't been able to find it yet. Hopefully that's because it's better hidden than their previous attempt. In .

My latest friend, Bramble. Bramble is just over 5 weeks old & is now fully independent. For now, Bramble is hanging around close to the nest site, but will shortly begin to wander further afield in search of a territory. Bramble is now adept at catching food, including flies & fast-moving spiders, so stands a good chance of survival.

The very aptly-named Yellow Warbler. Currently the most common warbler in my patch of Flyover Country.
