"Remember, back during , …?”

Why yes, I do! Like it was yesterday.

Because it /was/ yesterday. It's today too. And doubtless tomorrow.

DeSantis has the distinction of doing more damage to the public health probably than any other sitting governor and will continue to do so. Dropping out doesn't undo the mess he has made.

A scientific study just published in a medical journal reports that those who took the bogus Covid "cure" touted by Donald Trump and Fox News, hydroxychloroquinine, had an 11% increase in mortality rates. The study tracks some 19,000 deaths in hospitalized patients to the use of the snake-oil horse dewormer medicine.

@wdlindsy
That is good right?
Trumpers freely choosing to do stupid self destructive things, mostly because they exist in a make believe world.
Supported by far right con media, nonsense like Fox and CTV and the NP.
These fools have the option to protect themselves. They choose not to.
Just a bunch of authoritarian stupids getting rid of themselves.

Which is good for the average person who just wants to live in freedom.

    This is probably the best piece I've ever read on how journalists have reported on long covid, and how their reports has affected the lives of people living with long covid.

    Don't pass this piece up.
