ever notice how most of them look like a rectangle and have glass on the front?

vrighter ,

3 monitors, any day. I already hate 16:9 over 4:3

vrighter ,

atmega328. It's not the most powerful chip, but it's what's on most arduinos, which is what got me into electronics in the first place.

vrighter ,

even if that wasn't the case, a 90% success rate is absolutely abysmal in practice.

vrighter ,

cue the "one of our devs slipped and fell on a keyboard, completely coincidentally hitting all the right keys in the right order to code this. Completely coincidentally! "

vrighter ,

but they have a lot more disadvantages for most scenarios (if you're not a faang scale company, you probably don't need them)

vrighter ,

well it is that one person causing issues

vrighter ,

this has "draw the rest of the fucking owl" vibes to it. especially step 3

vrighter ,

that's not how asymptotes work.

vrighter ,

so, you can get around the burden of proof by getting enough people to perpetrate the lie?

vrighter ,

i have one, it's not very good tbh. You would need to modify the software yourself to make it actually practical. some way to lock the screen, some way to vibrate more than one 250ms blip when an alarm is triggered, stuff like that.

vrighter ,

"but all interdependent"

As it fucking should be! Yes the tools should be aware of each other. Yes the tools should be integrated. Yes, the tools should not have a bunch of different ways and formats for their config files.

These are not optional components of a system. I'd rather they work together, instead of needing yet another project in between as a kludge

vrighter ,

could have been between the cat and myself. The cat still gets preference.

vrighter ,

fuuk this AI bubble. the browser is one place where ai is not needed

vrighter ,

so they build the thing that pretty much everyone is running at a loss...

vrighter ,

and that's still too verbose. it should be (num % 2) != 0

vrighter ,

have you used android? As a dev, I mean

vrighter ,

quit fucking saying that! I still get random flickering on the desktop and flickering in games on a 1080. X11 is the only thing that lets me actually play games onmhe thing

vrighter ,

and multiplying by i twice means you rotate 90 degrees twice. So 180 degrees. Multiplying by i twice means multiplying by i^2 = -1.

So multiplying by -1 is a rotation by 180 degrees

vrighter ,

time for the Voight-Kampff test to become a reality

vrighter ,

A pony is not a small horse.

edit: I was wrong

Russia announced it had deployed, to Ukraine, its best new artillery-detecting radar. Hours later, the Ukrainians blew it up—with artillery. ( www.forbes.com )

Ukraine plinking a Russian GPS-jammer with a GPS-guided bomb. Ukrainian drones blowing up Russian drone-jammers. Ukraine’s cruise missiles striking Russian air-defense sites whose missions include, you guessed it, shooting down cruise missiles....

vrighter ,

i'd like to think that its operator detected the last incoming artillery shell.

vrighter ,

wouldn't /64 still leave you with 64 bits for you to do whatever? Ipv6 has a 128 bit address. If you can do subnets with a small usable portion of 32 bits, then you certainly can with a full 64 bits

vrighter ,

it's scratching the itch quite fine so far
