The path to reconciliation demands bringing these realities to light, especially among Israelis. Suppressing discussion of the 1948 violence and its enduring impacts will only entrench the injustices and prolong the conflict. True and lasting peace requires earnest dialogue, historical accounting, and a mutual understanding of the disproportionate losses borne by Palestinians. This November I will vote for Biden.

I would regard not voting for Biden, particularly in: PA, OH, MI, WI, IN, IL,VA, GA, FL, AZ, ME, NC, NH, etc. as a huge error. I'd be disappointed to find out anyone I knew didn't vote. It's one of a long list of things we need to do. We can't skip it.

And still? We deserve better choices, and in the future we shall have them.

In the Trump case, prosecutors have often been vague about what, exactly, is the underlying crime that was allegedly being concealed or furthered in the hush money case. But on Tuesday, prosecutor Joshua Steinglass said the statute in question is New York State Election law 17-152 — conspiracy to promote or prevent an election. That law makes it a misdemeanor when “any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means.” Steinglass said the entire prosecution theory “is predicated on the idea that there was a conspiracy to influence the election in 2016.”
