A thing of beauty that fell down the memory hole is that Joe took away their whole “Brandon” slur by adopting it, going dark with it, and selling merch with it. They dropped it like it bit them, because it did. Now they flounder. “Jacked up Joe” doesn’t play because they have heavily invested in “Sleepy Joe” and then their guy dozed off in court, daily. Dark Brandon was a stroke of genius. They had a stick, he took it away from them and beat them with it.

    The I-75 bridge over the Ohio river has always been crowded and chaotic. Especially with all the semi traffic on i-75. I drive that way every time I fly out of CVG. Plans for this ridge have been stalled for two decades, but are finally movi ahead now that the Federal Government will pitch in $1.6 billion of the project's $3.6 billion cost thanks to Biden's infrastructure act

    In 2016, Trump campaigned on the promise of infrastructure investment but he failed to deliver.

    One of Biden's first legislative accomplishments, the infrastructure investment has been repairing crumbling and overcrowded roads and bridges across America. The $3.8 billion investment in this bridge will better support $800 billion of economic shipping traffic annually.

    Are you familiar with Rudyard Kipling’s “Just So Stories” such as “How the Camel Got His Hump?” They're similar to the Tower of Babel or Adam and Eve or Noah’s Ark stories in many ways. They’re the sort of stories we might tell a child to explain why the world is the way it is.

    As a Christian child, I was told that love, compassion, cooperation, and empathy were uniquely human traits. That our social nature separates us from the animals as God's special creation.

    I've come to learn that is not at all true. For many years, I searched for a trait we had as humans that animals - especially other primates - did not demonstrate. I have yet to find one.

    I'm of the belief that most or all Christian denominations teach that humans are unique from animals. Many bristle at the notion that humans and animals are the same.

    Some people learned as children that there are only two colors of eggs: brown and white. This oversimplified idea is reinforced by egg marketing and packaging that groups eggs into those two colors.

    Nobody knows what the fuck they're doing.
