Wow. A restaurant in Chicago O’Hare, one of the biggest airports in the world, banned an infectious disease doctor from entering because they were wearing a mask. This is unacceptable.

Billionaire Harlan Crow has spent over $13 million on federal politics since the 2010 Citizens United ruling.

That’s on top of the years he spent secretly dolling out free vacations to Clarence Thomas.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

Israeli forces have destroyed all the water wells in northern Gaza.

The lack of water is making the near-famine conditions across the Strip worse, and most children and adults there don’t have access to clean drinking water.

"If water is life, then it's denial is certain slow death."

Video shows children drinking water from puddles & collecting seawater.

The Supreme Court just overturned a federal ban on bump stocks, the device that let the Las Vegas shooter injure more than 500 people and kill 60 within minutes.

80% of Americans supported the ban — even Trump!

SCOTUS has once again defied the will of the people.

All nine Republican senators running for reelection this year just voted against the right to contraception:

John Barrasso
Marsha Blackburn
Kevin Cramer
Ted Cruz
Deb Fischer
Josh Hawley
Pete Ricketts
Rick Scott
Roger Wicker

So much for the party of "freedom."

Alex Jones owes Sandy Hook victim's families $1.5 Billion

He hasn't paid the families that he terrorized a dime

This, while he spends roughly $100,000 per month on "personal expenses"

So relatives of victims of the Sandy Hook shooting are asking a bankruptcy judge to liquidate Alex Jones' media company—including Infowars—in order to make him pay up

Thoughts and prayers.

50 billionaire families have spent $600 million+ on the 2024 elections, which is .06% of their total wealth.

The equivalent donation for an avg household would be ~$100.

This means 50 billionaires have the political-spending capacity of 6 million American families.

Oligarchy.

Corporate America’s playbook:

  1. Exploit workers to maximize profits
  2. Use profits to buy Congress
  3. Use Congress to pass union-busting laws
  4. Use union-busting laws to further exploit workers
  5. Rinse and repeat

How we break this cycle? Build back a powerful labor movement.

Britain used to have the most polluted beaches in the EU, because UK sewage is led via channels directly into the sea.

Fortunately, UK politicians have now solved the problem… by leaving the EU, so the country does now show up in environmental statistics.

But the problem is now even worse in the UK.
