Optional: Create a device for reading your library that will last as long as possible.

It's an interesting exercise and might even be useful.

    @godzero @enmodo @pluralistic I love my town for that. We've got Rose Bowl Tavern that was bought by one of the bands right before COVID hit. They figured out contact-free and you could get beer and toilet paper.... and now they have a big tent and outdoor concerts every day weather permitting (took folks changing a law when another venue I'll never patronize again called them in for not clearing the parking lot from the tents every night.)

    The verdict may not matter to Trump's base, but I do think there is a group of people it matters to who are being overlooked: the people who were already likely to vote for Biden.

    A Trump acquittal would have sapped trust in legal systems and government further. It would fueled apathy. Hopelessness and apathy can reelect Trump.

What would it say about us? if we remain a nation that builds weapons of war, effective weapons, our best technology— and none of the people cared what purpose they served? they could defend a people violated by invading armies, they could be a tool to sweep a people away and not even our young people full of idealism think it worth questioning.     Ever have days when you have so much going on that your insides are on perma-rev-up and you can't slow it down?

    Today is that day. We finished spackling/painting all the spots where artwork was hanging, we've dusted, vacuumed, and prepped the house. Our painters were unavailable, so it was us.

    By the time the showing and trial are over today, I'll need to unwind. Lucky for me, Hammy needs walking at just the right time. That always does it.

    Trump's a lying coward. He didn't break the #GagOrder today that I know of. He made a point of avoiding it, in fact... so far.
