It will definitely be decentralized. The biggest blows to real representative democracy happened when the courts made the "corporations are people / money is speech" arguments.

Hey, elementary school kids need connections for weed just like everybody else, so I'm sure that will happen all the time.

This. I f*cking HATE having to vote for Biden. I've hated voting for Democrats for the last 20 years. We're good at scamming investors into thinking that a room full of monkeys on typewriters can be "AI." And all it takes to make that happen is to waste time, resources, lives and money, (ESPECIALLY money) into building an army of fusion-powered robots to beat the monkeys into working just a little bit harder.

Because that's businesses solution to everything: work harder, not smarter.

As a little background, I didn't actively use Reddit for months following the blackout. I still barely stop in over there and if I do I'm never logged in our contributing to the communities there (where I was previously a daily poster/commenter)....
