Why are keyboards getting smaller?

I'm not a true mechanical keyboard enthusiast. I mean I like a good keyboard for typing code, so I rolled with model-Ms in the 80s and 90s, then some expensive Cherry keyboard I only recently retired because it was utterly spent (and it was PS/2), and now I happily use a Wooting Two HE....

Does taking my glasses off to 'let my eyes rest' actually have any meaningful effect? Or am I just making my eyes work harder?

Started wearing glasses full-time a few months ago and I usually take them off during my lunch break because, well I'm mainly looking at my sandwich and I've been told it's good to let your eyes 'relax' as such....

I suppose this varies from person to person and I can only speak as a glass wearer with some.. uhhh.. 30-ish years of practice: your eyes can get tired. I have some days when I can't stand the feeling of my glasses and have to take them off a lot. My experience is that contacts make me really tired, much more than glasses. It's like my brain refuses to function if I see like a normal person. It's all just anecdotal unless a medic confirms it though :)

Watching the drama around kagi unfold and it has me wondering how much you take into consideration a creator's view on things like homophobia, sexism, racism, etc. when deciding to use a product. I think most of us have a bar somewhere (I would imagine very few on this website would ever consider registering on an altright...
