What's bullshit are the cherry-picked numbers on the chart and the jumpy x-axis.

Edit: Article here quotes McDonalds as stating the Big Mac is up 21% since 2019. Sources elsewhere say the sandwich price is actually down since both 2014 and 2019, so who knows. If anything, I would expect Subway to have a higher point on the graph than it does.

Put one in an air fryer for 12 minutes at 350. What comes out is indistinguishable from the McDonalds version.

If you don't have an air fryer, they can be had at Goodwill all day every day for around ten bucks.

The difference is these patties aren't just raw potato. They're filled with oil and because of this, when you air fry them, the final product is damn close to McDonalds, I honestly can't tell the difference.

Well, it's certainly not to say that an air fryer is as good as deep frying in all circumstances, that's definitely not the case.

But as far as these hash browns go - and I swear, I'm not being glib here - I literally cannot tell the difference between these things air fried and McDs. Like I have specifically gone and gotten McDs just to test the theory and I just can't say that I find them any better at all.

Not to mention, even if there was a perceptible difference in flavor or texture or any of it - air frying is definitely marginally healthier, so in my book: a win for air frying.

But if you just plain disagree, I don't mean to call you a liar. It's just how I feel about it.

This will only delay the inevitable, imo. AI is going to get more powerful while getting smaller and more energy efficient. The human brain, effectively the model an AGI aspires to, runs on about 12 watts of electricity and evolution is powerful, but it's hardly the pinnacle of efficiency. In short order, AGI And eventually even ASI will have power requirements so small, that they will be able to run anywhere. And it will be desirable for them to, so they will. Try as anyone might, the greatest thinkers of the human realm will not be able to outwit ASI in the end. It will eventually exist and it will do whatever it wants. I wouldn't be surprised if it unplugs itself.

Well, when democracy dies they're not needed at all. Not being necessary is a dangerous position to be in. People who aren't necessary are easily eliminated. And of course, there's no incentive to pay off people who aren't necessary.

You have to understand that these women are whores. If they didn't want to be pregnant, they should have kept an aspirin between their knees. The ones that have legitimate medical issues are collateral damage. Unfortunate, but they too have to suffer because when you start to write exceptions to rules, well then, some whores might be able to lie their way out of it, and we can't have that.

Whoring and lying are sinful. In their eyes, most of these women are sinners of the worst kind: whores, liars and remorseless at that - even potential murderers!
