Yes I find these pictures strange to look at, not quite 3D or 2D and printed photos making up a new photo.

Yes I believe so. 1904-5. The Russians lost a lot of battleships in comparison to Japan. At that time spectators would have looked down on little Japan and it's military ambitions, then things changed a lot :0
