This type of tax would just result in wealthy people moving their money into 3rd world countries. they will not pay a dime in the end and the USA would get less tax money from them.. hence why its a no for now. come up with a better strategy for taxing these assholes, not something that will result in them paying even less and hiding their money other places. Thing is that you can use math to find actual value. But, if I warmed up a financial calculator and follow the steps, I'm pretty sure this company has negative actual value, and that's saying something since even companies with no assets and revenue have small value.

I'm sure you can do better than that. A Zionist means simply that that you believe there should be a Jewish state. The word liberal simply means you are willing to be open to ideas that are not your own. Neither are complicated. Neither are pejoratives.

I'm boiling it down because this isn't the kind of platform to express a thousand words. I use the dictionary, as you should. You seem to make a word which it is not. That may work in your world and it may work in the Republican world, but that doesn't mean people with a common language have to accept it. Both you and Republicans are trying demean others using language which is not applicable.

You do understand that Isreal is 40% Muslim, just as in the US only 68% identify as Christian. Just because a country starts in a certain way doesn't mean they don't evolve. But, sometimes they don't for a time, especially Theocracies.

Muslims in Isreal are a minority, but they do hold office and are cops, etc. They were murdered last October too Not too many Christians in Isreal. I never liked Isreal declaring itself a Jewish state, but if Christians had their wish in the US...so, I can .understand hardliners in Isreal. I'm an atheist, so I'm always the minority.

It's political hardball. Republicans use this issue as a wedge. By making them declare on it as a stand alone measure, Democrats remove the issue. It could pass the Senate, but Johnson will never bring it to the floor in the House. The narrative will then be reinforced that Republicans don't want to solve the problem, they just want to talk about it.

The scenario of a split is interesting but very low probability since there are Democraticame Senators who can make sure that doesn't happen by their vote. I imagine there will be Democratic Senators voting for this bill. It's not what they do that's important, it's what Republicans do. Johnson won't bring it to the floor for the s reasons he didn't last time. Trump told him not to.
