@GottaLaff Molly & I have been texting all day—earlier, she sent me a paragraph detailing the requirements re: this load of crap (see below). She said if they actually make her post the 10 commandments in her classroom, she’s posting them on the ceiling, at the back of the room. I told her I’d post them right next to a much, much bigger copy of the 1st Amendment. The whole thing is so offensive, so infuriating, so divisive, so utterly fcking UNAMERICAN.

so. in January I was in a bad car accident. fractured spine, ruptured discs, cracked pelvis, broken arm. last 4 months have been v hard. tonight though I'm going back to my adult dance class for the first time. I wasn't sure I'd ever even walk properly again so this is a moment for me. a good one

You guys know I'm not at all religious, but I still love this Barsotti cartoon w/ all my heart--it's one of my all-time faves. I hope the universe will let me reunite with my doggos in one way or another. I just hope we all get to be together again someday.

    This morning, I overheard someone talking about the "violence" that takes place during an . & so now, you get a 🧵.

    Below is a wonderful chart that helps folks understand fetal development. There are times I want to have it painted on a sandwich board, so I can wear it everywhere I go.

    I've given birth to a full-term baby; had an abortion; suffered a miscarriage. The least violent of the 3 was most assuredly the abortion. +

    One impact of COVID that we don’t talk about enough is how people are avoiding medical care because of lack of precautions like masking in healthcare settings. This doesn’t show up as COVID deaths or hospitalizations but delays in screening, diagnosis, and treatment increases the mortality rate of other diseases like cancer.
