As a mod of another fun community, I can tell you that people report things just because they don't personally like them, and there are plenty of mods that will remove anything with a few downvotes that get reported. I don't, but plenty do.

I bought a pair of vegan leather shoes a couple years ago that were made from cactus skin and were touted as being as long lasting and versatile as leather. Bull-fucking-shit, man! I have 10 year old leather boots that are still in great condition despite constant heavy wear. I wore those shoes only a couple times per week for about 4 months and the "leather" started falling apart. I'd love to see a leather replacement that is as good as leather, or almost as good, but cheaper. So far all of the replacements have been considerably worse and cost as much or more money. Hopefully these mushrooms end up working out.

OK I have met someone, first few conversations went alright, how do I transition to something else without being embarrassed and feeling like a dick?     It takes some growth, but once you realize that girls are just human beings themselves, it becomes a lot easier. Nobody expects perfection from other humans in casual conversation. If you say something stupid or fumble your words then laugh it off and keep going. People like people with a sense of humor who don't take themselves too seriously.

    The pod scene, or the scene from the picture above? If you don't remember anything else, then you should definitely watch it again. My wife and I watched it again a couple years ago, and it still holds up. The pacing is different than modern movies obviously, but it's a great movie if you take the time to get into it.

    Those 3 consist of an immortal elf, a dwarf who are known for their endurance yet complained the whole trip anyways, and an 85 year old Dúnedain, a race of men descended from the Númenóreans, who are known for their longevity and noble lineage. So they're not exactly common foot soldiers.

    There's a whole scene where they mutiny against their leader because they're starving and dog tired. They want to eat the hobbits, and the only thing that stopped them was one of them getting beheaded for mutiny, and then getting decimated by a squadron of Rohan horsemen. I love that they took the time to include that, since it makes it more believable. The Uruk-hai were pushed to their absolute limits and then beyond, and they snapped, just like men would.

    A lot of these rich fucks have the same mentality as trump, where they think that any amount of help they give to someone weakens themselves by the same amount. They don't subscribe to the idea of "stronger together". Whatever they can take from someone else is a boost up for themselves. They think it's all one big competition, or warfare.

    Same thing with blackberries up here. Once they get established they're almost impossible to get rid of. At least they produce some berries once a year though. Those caltrops weeds are worthless in every way.

    I ordered an iPod from Alibaba back in the day and it was most certainly not an iPod. I think they're more reliable than back then, but who knows. It's always a gamble ordering from those kinds of sites.

    One time I ordered a PS2 kit from some janky-ass Chinese site. The kit converted it into a flip top and included a CD that would let you play burned games. After a couple months of it not showing up, I figured I got ripped off, which I half expected anyways. 3.5 months later the kit showed up at my doorstep and actually worked. Haha! I used that thing for years after making the conversion.
