I feel bad photographing this little guy who was clearly terrified. I suspect they were crossing the trail and froze when my dog and I came limbering past. They ran away right after the shutter click.

This is a view of them from above. There are also some orchid plants on the sides of the trunk.
Delightful close-up of the lichen under one of the mushrooms. The mushrooms steam is light beige, and the gills under are brown. The lichen is gray green.

#Mosses & #lichen growing off a #SoapFlower tree. Lichen looks like hammered shield lichen but I'm not totally sure. I don't know what type of mosses these are. There's lots of fallen, tiny, soap berry petals on them.

The moss on my bonsai continues to thrive since I started keeping it in a transparent plastic bin

@NyakoKitty I took about 30 photos, each one getting a little closer. I figured it’d hop off into the water but nope, let me get about 12 inches away with my phone. Little camera hog! (I’m guessing you weren’t so close with your croc pic!) 🤣 🐊 🐸
