Lamb's-ear starting to flower

Stalks of lamb's-ear, just starting to put out some purple flowers. Stachys byzantina is called lamb's-ears because the leaves look and feel like a soft fuzzy lamb's ear. The flower stalks are tall gray-green cones with purple flowers all over. In this photo we see just a few peeks of purple flowers starting to emerge
