Many #Trump allies had been secretly rooting for an #acquittal. The talking points wrote themselves: It would have been yet more evidence that the #UnitedStates#justice system was rigged in favor of #Bidens & against Trumps. Tues’s #guilty#verdict was inconvenient to that narrative.

Last wk, a California man was convicted of threatening to bomb an #FBI field office where hundreds of agents & other employees work. In one of his #threats to the FBI, the man wrote: “I can go on a mass murder spree. In fact, it would be very explainable by your actions.”
It's a sad day for the Biden family, which like so many families has had to struggle with the addiction of a family member. But it's a good day for the rule of law.
