The one thing that I'm always most inclined to say to the kind of person that posts this is to ask "Who". Like, I have plenty of beef with Biden but if you think somebody different is called for then you damn well better have an actual name. Like the votes have already started for the primary it ain't time for "somebody" it's either pick an actual live and viable physical person or start working to shift the policy debate because the candidate debate is over.

The Convention defines genocide as any of five "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group." These five acts include killing members of the group, causing them serious bodily or mental harm, imposing living conditions intended to destroy the group, preventing births, and forcibly transferring children out of the group. Victims are targeted because of their real or perceived membership of a group, not randomly. @GottaLaff

If civilians are intentionally being put in harms way via perfidy or human shields, those doing that are the ones committing the war crime, not the ones attacking them in an attempt to get to the military element. You can go read it yourself. The basic concept of self defense going all the way back to Roman law also disagrees with you. If you hate seeing dead kids, then you should probably be mad at the side not following the rules of war, which were formulated specifically designed to minimize the dead kids. Israel is following the rules of war by any analysis done by a person with an IQ over 100 or who bothered to read the actual articles. Hamas can surrender and return the hostages at any time. Given that it hasn't done that, I don't know what you expect to happen. The presence of civilians is not a get out of jail free card for terrorists.
