I should update those who have been kind enough to ask:

I’m finally all better! As of yesterday, I felt like my old self again.

We move into the new townhouse in Aug. We gave the sellers time to find a place to live, so we have to wait.

My car arrived yesterday! While Mr. Laffy was picking it up at the Canadian border, a drug bust took place within feet of him. Dogs sniffed out the culprit, and Mr. Laffy also got…sniffed!

We have no charger here. 24 hours later, my car is still plugged in

A walk at Windsor Nature Park, Singapore, and the nearby Central Catchment Nature Reserve after the predawn rain today, 16 June 2024 yielded this beauty: a Fairy Lynx Spider, genus Hamadruas. Needed to zoom in with the camera to appreciate its colours.

A passer-by asked for a look and was also wowed by it. Good to be able to spread an appreciation of spiders. 🙂

Ever have days when you have so much going on that your insides are on perma-rev-up and you can't slow it down?

Today is that day. We finished spackling/painting all the spots where artwork was hanging, we've dusted, vacuumed, and prepped the house. Our painters were unavailable, so it was us.

By the time the showing and trial are over today, I'll need to unwind. Lucky for me, Hammy needs walking at just the right time. That always does it.

So I just went for my physical, and it's wrapping up, I'm waiting for my dr. to come back. Suddenly, he comes in all excited, grabs my arm says, come here! We go out to the patio outside his office, he hands me the Special Eclipse 3-D Glasses Thingies, and says, put these on, it'll be black til you look up!

And it was, til I looked up and saw my very first eclipse.

Yes, I have a very cool dr. who I've gone to for decades.
