Ngl the US would react quite pissed just like it reacted during the Cuba crisis.

Placing nuclear warheads in range of enemy cities is OK, but when the enemy wants to place their nuclear warheads in range of my cities as a reaction it's a cause for nuclear war.

And the US has overthrown quite a lot of governments for their own interests (starting with the banana wars and later extending to anti-communism and oil), so toppling the Mexican / Canadian government to get them back on track actually isn't far fetched.

But I agree with your last point. Even tho I don't like the US I'd never make opposing the US at all cost even if I have to side with literal fascists & mass murders my main purpose of life. Out of China, Russia, Iran and the US, the US is the lesser evil (at least for now... Idk what MAGA is up to)

Yes, German dialects can vary greatly for example here's the same sentence "I have an apple." in different German dialects:

Standard German:

"Ich habe einen Apfel."

Northern German / Platt:

"Ik hab en Appel."

Middle German / Saxonian:

" 'sch'habm Abbl." ( 'sch is pronounced like sh)

Southern German / Bavarian & Austrian:

"I hob an Opfü." (I is pronounced like the single letter E)

The Southern Germans are the ones with the Schwarzenegger accent.

For me, the reason it is hard out there is because I am super careful when trying to pick someone up and they end up mistaking my pickup lines for friendly banter and I end up getting friendzoned.

Plus I am super choosy myself and take long to crush on someone and then take super long to get over a crush. (o﹏o)

But I agree that listening to toxic males like Tate will likely not make it easier.

On your PC made in the PRC with semi-conductors from the ROC made from rare-earth elements mined in the PRC

If you REALLY want to farm that social credit you should try Kylin and UKUI because it is directly financed by the PRC's National University of Defense Technology which itself is affiliated with the Central Military Commission.

Canonical's Steam Snap is Causing Headaches for Valve ( www.omgubuntu.co.uk )

Timothée Besset, a software engineer who works on the Steam client for Valve, took to Mastodon this week to reveal: “Valve is seeing an increasing number of bug reports for issues caused by Canonical’s repackaging of the Steam client through snap”....

  • Flatpak is open source, Snap isn't
  • Flatpak allows other repositories besides the official one, therefore having the ability to be decentralised, Snap doesn't
  • Canonical (the company behind Snap and Ubuntu) is hated for some past decisions they made with Ubuntu
  • and more

(The only thing I really prefer Snap over Flatpak is that you need the whole package name in Flatpak (like com.valvesoftware.Steam for Steam) whilst you can simply use "steam" in snap but that's due to decentralisation vs centralisation I guess and overall a minor problem for me)
