important to note 's conviction matters

you can't depend upon people to decide for themselves. they hear all sorts of noise and they go "if he is so bad he would have been punished." now that he is punished, people adjust, as they should and do

society and the courts have to deliver consequences, and people will take their cues from that or a lack thereof

as a corollary it's a failure of society trump made it so far without a major punishment

we can't coddle the rich

No, mifepristone is NOT "safe" from SCOTUS. Not yet.

The Supreme Court ruled only on a procedural issue -- saying the far-right org that sued did not have standing to sue.

Only real bona fide injured parties can sue.

The right wingers will be back with another challenge soon.

Federal law 18 USC 922(g) makes it illegal to own a gun

  • as a substance user
  • or as a convicted felon

This was used to convict Hunter Biden.

It also potentially applies to Donald Trump.

Trump still reportedly owns a gun at Mar-a-Lago despite now being a convicted felon.
