I have unhealthy urges due to acute anxiety. If untreated, it can absolutely mean I'm behaving in ways that harm me and those around me. Since I care about others and my own well-being, I go to therapy and take medication.

I don't like it when mentally ill adults*, who don't care enough to pursue treatment, get let off the hook. He knows that he's trading these kids' futures for his own gratification and he doesn't care. Not all PDFs are like this--but this motherfucker is and therefore gets no sympathy from me.

*This doesn't include people who have illness, delusions, or lack of resources, preventing them from getting regular treatment.

Ok, I thought I covered things like schizophrenia, where people can't always manage their treatment due to the nature of the disorder, when I listed illness, but I can see how that'd get missed.

And you're right, I neglected to highlight the stigma of pursuing help for pedophilia. I guess I'm being idealist about the ethics of therapists and when they disclose or report.

I think that one of the greatest things about the Constitution, the idea that it's dynamic, has been lost to the result of FPTP--this two-party lock that won't allow for any amendments. We now treat the document like a religious text instead of a tool we can and should update to be relevant and responsive when absolutely necessary.

But go off about how much I hate this country or whatever. I'm clearly very apathetic about its vision.

It's because it's Satanism and not the Satanic Temple.

Satanism (usually referring to Levayan Satanism) is for libertarian edge-lords. This is the flavor of Satanism the phrase "Do as thou wilt" comes from.

The Satanic Temple is for based secular people (they don't believe in a literal Satan) who support the separation of church and state, and bodily autonomy, etc. They spend a lot of money on legal tests of issues exactly like this article. Donate to them!

No, this isn't a typical thing people think about. Which is why it's associated with autism, (social) anxiety, and/or ADHD. Now, it doesn't mean you definitely have any of those, but it's something to consider as part of a larger picture.

I suggest you pursue medical/therapeutic support if you find that this anxiety is negatively affecting how you live your life :)

Go look up thirst trap woodchopping videos or channels of people really good at whip cracking. The type of natty, muscular physique these people have is great.

Where I'm personally turned off is when people start to use steroids to go beyond how bodies look when they're natty jacked because of an active hobby or job (talking about the look---it's ok to get muscles at the gym instead.).

Fwiw, I'm strictly talking about muscles here, regardless of fat. If built, construction homies have a lean look or if they are a teddy bear, it's all cool with me.

TLDR; Steroids can make muscles unattractive.

In 2016, toward the end of the lead up to the primaries, Bernie polled higher than HRC when they were each given as an option to oppose Trump. I was in rural New York at the time and it was surprising to see so many Bernie signs. Somehow, he was able to reach blue collar America where other, recent Democrats have lost ground.

As a populist, Bernie was a stronger candidate against the other "populist" (Trump) than the institution candidate (HRC). Naturally, the DNC would rather lose against a wannabe-dictator than back someone who doesn't swallow their entire load.

Those movies are so great. Probably stick with the G and PG options if there's a young kid in the mix (thinking of Princess Mononoke, which is PG-13, IIRC). The PG ones often have just the right amount of "safe-scary" elements that it absolutely grabs their attention. Great movies for grown-up/kid conversation-starters to boot, just due to the deep, rich, human themes they explore.

Aren't those tomato meter scores the aggregate of critic reviews? On cult classics, low-brow, or franchises with baggage, the user reviews are way more likely to match the vibe of a movie.

Funnily enough, it's almost the complete opposite for independent movies made for "film people". Or plots that require critical thinking or deep attention (the latter is my own Achilles' heel)--where the user score is garbage, but the critic score (and thus, the tomato meter) is more likely to match your own (if you're into movies like that).

Yes, no one should be watching this without the shenanigans. You need to be in a certain silly, horny mood with some added alcohol if you're still too cool for school, and a group of others who feel the same and have memorized the callbacks.

Do the work for third parties between elections. That's when the hard-fought progress is made toward rising platforms and ideas. Vote third party in primaries. Attend third party meetings and help organize. But don't make the work to spread new ideas and build other options even harder by allowing democracy to creep further backward and affect up to 35+ years of judicial decisions.

I'm happy to inform you that there are Democrat-controlled states and localities that have successfully passed ranked-choice voting.

And there are states that have BANNED ranked-choice voting as well. I'll let you guess which party was behind those.

Yikes. That's toasty in March (89F for all my fellow people who can't remember metric temp conversion despite googling it all the time). And it's always SO HUMID too.
