Tonight, Danish military experts had several points on Russia’s wunderwaffe:

  1. Russia has presented a FAB-3000 glide bomb which carries 1,500 kg of explosives. It looks scary, but in reality, you would inflict more damage by using two bombs, half the size.

  2. They also presented a heavy lift drone called Perun, which is powerful enough to evacuate a wounded person. The irony here is, the drone has not been used this way in Ukraine, because saving human lives are not a priority for Putin.

@randahl Large bombs sound scary but are inefficient. That is why we don't see MegaTon warheads on ICBMs anymore.
Everyone, with the technology, use MIRVs these day with 3-11 smaller warheads.

Russian infiltration in Denmark?

Danish media BT, got curious as to why former government party Venstre withdrew a candidacy for EP candidate Alexandra Sasha very late in the election.

According to BT, her real name is Alexandra Sasha Bessmertnaia, and digging into her past they found an expensive lifestyle and surprisingly many meetings with a pro-Russian organisation, arranged by an FSB agent.

No one in Venstre wants to talk to the press about the incident.

When you meet someone in real life who is on X, who does not understand the value of switching to Mastodon, I recommend telling them that unlike X…

  1. Mastodon is both free and ad free for all users

  2. Everyone gets the same set of features, so editing typos or writing longer posts is not reserved for the rich kids.

  3. There is no algorithm, so everyone's content spreads if we the users decide it is great content.

The tax gap (the gap between taxes owed and taxes collected) was $688B in 2021 — nearly half the size of last year’s deficit.

For every $1 the IRS spends auditing rich tax cheats, it can collect $12.

If the GOP truly cared about the deficit, they would fund the IRS, not gut it.
