I have PTSD from the iTunes days. As someone who was a little too OCD about cover art and things back in the day, it would regularly does mess things up and undo all my work.

Plus I never forgave them or U2 for having the audacity to install one of their shitty albums and not allow removing it for some time.

I should really try Spotify as I won’t be going to Android as yeah Google sucks. Like Apple suck too but less so imo.

Hey, each to their own, but I’m prepared to make sacrifices for the things I believe.

I don’t shop on Amazon, and some things I just can’t find elsewhere so I just don’t buy them.

As mentioned I don’t use WhatsApp so I miss out on group chats as my friends won’t use signal.

The list is quite long at this point.

I just find it odd that you’ll call out Facebook for being complicit but do nothing about it.

Thank you for your kind words, and I didn’t mean to come across as combative or anything, I was just voicing my thoughts.

As for losing friends, if my friends don’t believe in the same things as me then I really should find friends I have more in common with.

Full disclosure I’ve done some fucked up things in my life and my way of making amends is speaking of for the people less fortunate than I am and taking a stand for the things I believe, whether it makes a difference or not.

As an example. I grew up in hip-hop but at a certain point I stopped listening to new people and realised recently that I’d slept on some bangers. Like Kendrick particularly, but even people like Juice WRLD and Xxxtentacion....

So in 2022 the UK, my home, had 33m males. The same year there were 70,000 rapes.

Let’s assume these are all against women and each one committed by a different male. That means there were 70,000 rapists out of 33m people which is a percentage of males that raped people of 0.2121212121%.

Now sure we should get this to zero, but it makes your outlandish comments null and void.

I appreciate your comment and you’ve hit on a good point in that I don’t think I am in a stable place right now.

I am on the right trajectory, but I am conscious it’s a tentative path and although my addiction was only weed, it’s had a devastating effect on my life and I think you’re spot on that I need to focus on myself, selfish isn’t always bad I guess.

That said I can recruit other friends to be there for this friend.

I too attend protests, every Saturday in Manchester. Nobody here is being antisemitic.

Absolutely.

He has so much content and for me he content around dealing with my ADHD and addiction has helped me understand how your brain works against you and provides good tips for doing better at life.

I find he is very open and sometimes blunt, and he adds a sprinkling of memes as his audience skews younger.

The community too, although I don’t engage so much it’s nice to see the comments of people in a similar situation as yourself. Honestly it’s hard to describe. You’d be best looking through his videos, I prefer the longer discussions. Finding one that relates to you and decide for yourself.

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts if you do go over to YT and watch some stuff.
