Don’t know if it’s weird but I saw a cute pigeon trying to make a nest on the Metrolink Ticket Machines.

The thing is the machine is kinda not against a wall and a little slanted , so when I got to the platform there were twigs all over the floor and a poor nest on top. I tried to do a solid and put some twigs on the box to help.

Because of the way media seems to work these days.

There is no denying that a small percentage of homeless people are too far gone to help and would rather live that way for whatever reason.

Any person with some critical thought should be able to remove them from the discussion and focus on the vast majority of homeless people that can be helped, where the media will just show this one person and be like see there isn’t any point.

The same can be seen for peaceful protests. We have 10,000 people protesting peacefully and one lunatic being violent. We all know what the news will show the next day.

I don’t have double standards for people of my tribe or people I like more.

Edit: to be abundantly clear. The vast majority of the world isn’t aware of his existence. Therefore there isn’t much reason to silence him. I know at times it can seem like the things we are into are bigger than they are, but they really are at times. Take Lemmy, not many people I know irl has heard of it, but it’s a large part of my life. As someone with ADHD this becomes abundantly clear when you unload all you’ve learned about something to someone and you’re met with ah nice.

Today in a Privacy community a post about YouTube. No word about privacy but all about which software or settings are needed to watch videos and the money needed to host videos. It made me wonder whether some of you can lead a meaningful life without YouTube. Or will a cold turkey bring the worst out of you ?

I use it for everything and often background noise.

I could survive without it but I would miss it. Not so much YouTube but a service like it.
