Fun fact on Range Rovers, at least in the Uk. They’re quite easy to steal, 90 were stolen in one night. As a result the insurance companies are charging crazy prices and thus many people can’t keep the car so the market is blooded and with used ones.

This is then devaluing the cars and so other people are having trouble selling them as they’ll still owe on the finance.

This is my city and I’m ashamed, but not shocked.

I’ve had an argument with the police before for refusing homeless people access to the local library bathrooms, as apparently some people will use drugs. Like we can ban everybody who looks homeless because of the actions of some.

Some cops will drag you through Manchester City centre, should we ban them all.

To add some context, it was central library in St Peter’s Square (the same place as this video) and I believe some people had caused damage to the toilets with the drug use, not that I condone all people being banned.

Plus you can bet if you’re refused access to a toilet and decide well I’ll have to piss somewhere, they’ll fine you for pissing in the street. And yes they would give a homeless person a fine.

I live in Manchester in the UK, healthy level of gangs, knife crime etc. yet I’ve never felt the need to walk around with a hammer. Like I’ll walk through moss side with no issue.

Aside from the giant one. If you kept the camera on a tripod it’s just a case of taking pictures in all the different places. Then in photoshop nothing more complex than loading each image as it’s own layer and then masking them to keep yourself but not too much off the background. The background would be the bottom layer with nothing in shot.

I'm pretty sick of my content addiction, like watching youtube or netflix all the time. I would rather be spending my time otherwise so figured fun things are the best to start. Do you have tips for fun things to do? Or how I could search for them?...

Learn to solve a Rubik’s cube. Couple of weeks and you’ll be able to do it in around a minute or two.

Painting by numbers is chill.

Walking is fun.

Learn an instrument.

Code some tools to help you do things that bore you.

Our company uses AI tools as just that, tools to help us do the job without having to do the boring stuff.

Like I can now just write a comment about state for a modal and it will auto generate the repetitive code of me having to write const [isModalOpen, setIsModalOpen] = useState<boolean>(false);.

Or if I write something in one file it can reason that I am going to be using it in the next file so it can generate the code I would usually type. I still have to solve problems it’s just I can do it quicker now.
