He's already a fucking martyr, it's just a matter of when/where the bastard keels over. His base is riled up enough that no matter how he dies, it will be a conspiracy theory nightmare and probably trigger another january 6th style incident.

Or their parents don't like their friend group (not uncommon amongst the more hardline religious families)

There's probably plenty more I've forgotten since leaving reddit. The whole system is fucked and the "camps" shouldn't be legal.

The OTHER fun one is what I recall being referred to as "gooning", where the parents arrange for the kid to be picked up in the middle of the night, put in a vehicle, and driven to the camp. SOMEHOW that is legal and not human trafficking.

Yeeeeah... I don't remember most of my childhood or a good chunk of my adulthood, except for occasional memories. Like multiple middle school suspensions. Or that time when two girls sat on the armrests of a chair I was sitting in on a field trip, and I remained oblivious for YEARS. And the girl who I just now remember messaged me to explicitly tell me she wasn't a lesbian. 8th grade me was a dumbass.

JUST TODAY I was going to buy WinRar. I've used the software forever, for free, and I just thought... I appreciate this, they've never given me grief, and I'm going to pay them.

And I went on their page to subscribe for a lifetime membership, and they wanted 20 bucks, which I was okay with, but it does not include Major Updates! I guess I'll buy it and just click the do not check for updates button but that seemed kind of, I don't know....

I've heard the dev for 7zip is a bit of an ass if you need something fixed or feature requests, but otherwise not really (unless you're using it for work and your workplace prohibits russian-made software)

Lactose intolerance gives me little other choice (doesn't always stop me when it comes to cheese tho) 😅 oat milk is delicious but doesn't always work for cooking purposes, almonds are atrocious as far as sustainability goes.

Honestly, Chicago (and more recently, Minnesota) has been on my list as places to consider moving to. I've never lived in an actual "city" city before but suburban Ohio is getting real fuckin old, and the bigoted, bible-thumping MAGA types are only getting more brazen as time goes on.

I don't know why we, as a species, are so determined to inhabit a place that functionally should not be inhabited (Deserts). Not like we don't have PLENTY of empty space in the USA.

How pricy can that get? I know i want to get electrolysis for the "bits" because I know I'll probably want that done long term; I've got a decent amount of options for laser in my area right now and if it's affordable enough I'd consider both
