All over the world, voters should beware, that whenever politicians talk about immigrants, it is because they have no solutions to the problems that matter most.

Healthcare crisis in the UK? Talk about immigrants.

Children getting shot because of idiotic gun laws in the US? Talk about immigrants.

"Look over there! Someone is coming to eat your cake!", is the oldest trick in the book, and politicians use it for the sole purpose of moving attention away from their own political incompetence.

It is a real issue. In Europe immigration has led to increased crime, draining of welfare programs and the general problem that many antidemocratic islamists has come in. For some reason some people think this issue is a nonissue in order to seem tolerant but I think there is strong evidence that mass immigration brings huge problems

Trump’s messages about Thursday’s presidential debate:

“I might lose because the host is biased”
“I might lose because Biden is on drugs”
“Maybe I will lose the debate on purpose”

I am glad to see, Trump is preparing to lose.

We are finally gonna start losing again
We will loose so big you might even get tired of losing

I apologize for asking an uncomfortable question, but has there ever been a debate in Germany about replacing the Iron Cross symbol of the German army?

I applaud every delivery of German equipment to Ukraine, but whenever I see the iron cross on a Leopard tank, my heart skips a beat.

To me, modern day Germany is a beacon of freedom, and I feel this symbol is associated with the opposite.

Picture 1: Iron cross on modern day German helicopter.

Picture 2: Iron cross on a Nazi soldier uniform.

@randahl
Almost every symbol has been used for something bad at some point in history that doesnt mean we should stop using it. The era of nazi imagery only lasted 16 years. Why would we decide to associate the symbols they stole with them. There is no need to make an issue out of that.

Trump’s social media game is predictable like a clock.

Picture 1: While experts had predicted the RFK Jr. candidacy would help Trump, new polls show, that his presence in the race may actually help Biden.

Picture 2: Knee jerk reaction from Trump.

Here is a smart campaign trick for biden to use. Mention how much the covid vaccines helped america. This will immedeadetely make Trump try to take credit for them, which will make his anti-vax supporters vote for Kennedy instead.

Tomorrow marks 20 years since our European family grew larger.

The historic 2004 EU enlargement brought new opportunities and greater prosperity for citizens across our Union.

Tonight, as our building shines brightly, we celebrate two decades of our unity and progress.

An animated logo reading '20 years together' is projected onto the Berlaymont building of the European Commission at night. The number '0' of the logo is composed of blue, yellow, and orange streaks, symbolizing a fireworks display. The stars of the EU flag appear alongside the logo.

@EU_Commission
Maybe its time now that 20 years have passed bring new countries in. It would be a small political shift but i think we can handle bringin both ukraine and georgia into the union.

I did not see this one coming:

The US is about to impose sanctions on specific members of the Israeli army, the IDF.

Behind closed doors, the US has investigated the IDF's violations of human rights in West Bank, and the result is now on Anthony Blinken's table.

Trump’s attempted coup continues.

Phase 1: His refusal to concede.

Phase 2: His plot to overturn the election.

Phase 3: Discredit and undermine the criminal justice system to avoid accountability.

These are the three central elements of his presidential campaign. Be warned.

@rbreich
It should not take a whole presidential term to have someone tried for crimes they commited as president. Now theyll say "we can't prosecute him. What if he becomes president" and then if he loses, "but what if he runs in 2028"

Denmark, a country of less than 6 million people, announces its 17th military aid package with a combined value of USD 314,000,000.

“The situation in Ukraine is critical. Western nations have to increase the aid, so Ukraine can resist the Russian advances”, says foreign minister of Denmark Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

The contents of the package is kept secret but described as “drones”, “missile components”, and “a significant maritime capacity”.
