@randahl trial is done, he was found guilty on all counts. Sentencing is sentencing. Gag order is of no significance there. He isn’t being sentenced by the jury. I am pretty certain I read yesterday after the verdict that Merchan told Donnie he was free to speak now.

In other "news" Tucker Carlson went on "The Rogan Experience" and denied that evolution by means of natural selection explained the diversity & history of living things on earth.

Said there was "no evidence" humans could have evolved "from a single cell organism"

It's impossible to know if he's just saying this for attention.

I've always said science would be next. Tucker is the vanguard of the far right. Give it five years and you'll have congress members wanting this in your schools.

@shekinahcancook @futurebird I was just reading that a rep. named Pratt got a bill though the KY house to loosen state child labor restrictions. His angle was to help young people earn money for college or what not, in fact Rep. Pratt owns a landscaping business. Obviously he just wants to exploit child labor to save a buck. Evil is as evil does. And these evil fuckwits have the gall to call themselves Christians.

    Every now and then I hear conversations from outside of here about "the state of social media" and let me tell you: People are suffering. People are miserable. Many people feel addicted to social media but unable to have positive and valuable interactions in the space. Mostly, in the profit-driven social media space negative emotional reactions glue eyeballs as well as positive, so a heap of the experiences is just ... unpleasant.

    @futurebird the one thing I think is bizarre, is how I see comments from people talking like it is so important to have a presence on those sites owned by the rich sociopaths. What? Why? Does it really matter? I have had no experience with them in years. Don’t miss them a bit. To be fair I was not on the bird site but for a few months before they locked my account for a news article I posted. They would not even let me open said article to determine what was so heinous.
