Have you ever browsed the website of another Fediverse server, and it tells you to log in again even if you're already logged in? Or asked you to give your server name?

You can avoid fuss by doing the following:

  1. Log in on your own server's website or your app
  2. Copy the web address of the post or profile from the other server's site
  3. Paste the address into the search box on your own server or app. This will make the other server's post or profile appear within your own server.

@FediTips Honestly the most annoying things about mastodon. Especially when people are boosting threads posts. I click on the original in tusky, it brings it up in firefox, i can see it, but i cannot boost it because it wants me to sign into threads, which i do not have

If the supreme court jumps in and overturns the Jan. 6 convictions of 100s of people who attacked the capitol it will be one of the most politically charged actions taken by this court and in a politically charged environment.

There are many laws that might need revision, scrutiny, but they reached out through space and time to grab this hot potato.

It's a joke.

Trump is upset he may miss his son's graduation because he's on trial.

Yeah, we do treat people in the criminal justice system harshly. People you have never thought about, people who have kids, and graduations, and moments missed forever.

But it's different now. He cries. It's happening to ME. To Me!

Nothing, no one, exists beyond the tip of some people's noses. They cannot see pain unless they feel it. Cannot recognize suffering unless it's their own.

What a stunted perspective.

@futurebird Yeah, maybe Trump shouldn't have directed Bill Barr to use the United States department of justice to intervene in NY State prosecution of his crimes and he could have stood trial as soon as he wasn't president anymore, well before his youngest offspring's graduation (which I'm sure he doesn't actually care about)

All right, let's set up what to watch for in today's ballot access argument.
The justices I'll be paying the most attention to are Gorsuch & Kagan.
Court is likely to keep Trump on ballot. But...
Neil is guy who is most willing to carry his logic through to bitter end, to hell with the consequences. And Neil's logic should exclude Trump. He once wrote an opinion that kicked other people off the ballot, b/c they failed a textual test in the constitution.

I don't understand the people who told me I would get more conservative with age. The more powerful I become, the more angry I get at the people who abuse their power and the more aware I become of the ways in which systemic oppression functions.
